Programmes for schools
We prepare animation programmes for pupils and students from all types of primary, secondary, upper secondary schools and universities under the management of Wannieck Gallery's lecturer in liaison with the Department of Arts and Crafts of the Pedagogical Faculty of Masaryk University in Brno. The animations aim to offer both children and adults a more personal encounter with contemporary fine arts through their own experiences, experiments with art techniques, debate and a common search. Our objective, in particular with children, is to enrich their experience in fine arts, contribute to the development of aesthetic perception, imagination and independence of opinion. Gallery animations try to present fine arts in the context of other areas of human activity as well as in the context of the surrounding world so that children can perceive them as a natural part of life. By linking fine arts with the Czech language and literature, history, geography, geometry, social sciences and other subjects (always depending on the particular exhibition and upon agreement) animations attempt to make interdisciplinary linkage visible. In preparing a particular animation programme we are ready to co-operate with arts and crafts teachers and to create, upon agreement, a „tailored programme“.

You can register here.

The admission fee is 20 CZK per person, free of charge for accompanying persons. The admission fee includes a lecturer's presentation and a contribution to the material used within arts and crafts activities. Visits can also be agreed for Thursdays, when the Wannieck Gallery is closed.
